What did you study and where?
Computer and Network Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University.
What initially attracted you to the Graduate role at Calnex?
The job description of the roll was a broad spectrum and rare to see on job sites, it fitted alongside everything that I had studied at university with a few extra things to further interest me.

The Calnex culture has been one of the most welcoming and friendly cultures in a company that I have ever experienced.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Seeing what happens when we push our products to its limits and beyond them, and constantly learning new things as every day is a school day.
Most challenging aspects of your job?
Figuring out, understand and visualising edge cases (potential issues) within our products, basically the entire job is challenging and keeps me on my toes. Some days I get good results some days they’re not so good. But it is always satisfying when you figure it all out.
What advice would you give to anyone considering a Graduate role at Calnex?
Give it a go, it’s a great challenge but everyone is extremely helpful, so never be afraid to ask questions.
Tell us something that surprised you about Calnex when you came?
Calnex is more of a family than a corporation. Everyone is equal and just as important as the next person.
